Robert Moorman

Amsterdam, Cologne, London, Sydney

Creative Catalyst and Cleverest Consultant.

Our big picture, blue-sky guy who knows how to make what you want, happen. And so he should, with over 20 years experience in the industry.

Robert started out as a professional musician and producer in Amsterdam in the late eighties. He was signed to the EMI subsidiary label, Djax records, and toured Europe in that time with his band. Concurrently, he studied Sonology (music technology and composition) at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and further went on to study film and media production at the Amsterdam Film School.

In 1994, after six years of rock n' rollin' around Europe as a VJ and musician, Robert decided to start his first company, Noizlabs. In 2003, Noizlabs morphed into theScreens, shifting the company focus to interactive media production.

Having lived and worked all over Europe, Robert has now settled in Australia, making Sydney his home with his Australian wife and Japanese dog!

theScreens continues to grow and thrive under his creative direction.

Elizabeth White

Perth, London, Sydney

Written Content Consigliere and Organiser Extraordinaire.

Having lived a fairly casual, yet nomadic life in Perth as a professional student, Beth finally finished a teaching degree in 2001 and bailed the world's most isolated capital city for somewhere a little more populous.

After teaching in London, and going quietly insane in the process, Beth took an entirely different approach to her career and moved into the media industry.

However, after six years of running amok in London, Beth sensed that another change was required to her cosy little East London routine. A move to Sydney was decided upon and a Masters in Media and Communication added to the CV.

Beth started working with theScreens in 2006, taking control of project management and generally running the show! Her job is to ensure your experience is stress-free, the way it should be.

Not too much gets by this details diva!

Sean McDermott

Sydney

Camera operator, visual virtuoso

We heart Sean 'coz he laughs at all our jokes! No, seriously, the guy's got more talent than Britain.

After completing a Bachelor of Digital Media (Film and Video) at COFA, Sean decided he needed some more practical experience, so embarked on a Cert iv at TAFE in Television Production. What more can we say, he's emotional about his craft.

With the team now for over a year, Sean is our main man for all things camera. A superb Director Of Photography with great people skills, a wealth of knowledge and an inate ability to create new ideas in media. He's also a superb editor and general After Effects aficionado, is there anything he can not do???

Sean has a depth of experience and way of thinking that belies his age. He's created documentaries, music videos and a wide range of digital media that would look great on the reel of someone 10 years his senior.

Sean is an asset to the company.

William Chicken

Paris, London, Sydney

Designer, developer, photographer. Better than the Holy Trinity.

William is THE man - and OUR man - for all things web. He's an accomplished web designer and developer, with an uncanny knack for website design. However, the real talent can be seen in his photography.

As a combo package then, you can rest assured knowing not only will your site be clever, simple and work well, it will look great with his clean design and beautiful complementary imagery.

Marissa Van Der Hout

Melbourne, Sydney

Illustrator, animator, terminator.

In the wise words of the great Ace Frehley, sometimes "words are not enough". Sometimes we also need pictures. And sometimes we need those pictures to move. And then sometimes we don't need words at all because we have moving pictures. Witness the power that is Visual Media!

Underused and oft considered extraneous, visual media is one of the most crucial elements in the Screens' magic media bag. Visual media adds extra dimension to a brand, a video or a website that could otherwise look a little flat or even (gasp!) dull.

Marissa is our Main Lady for all things visually stimulating be that quirky illustration, smooth animation, cool motion graphics or a clever corporate identity.

If you never thought of it before, start thinking of it now. Its a great way to help you stand out from the crowd.
